The Fall Gauley River Season has finally entered. We welcome back many friends who make the annual pilgrimage to raft the top ranked Gauley River each year. The Upper Gauley is wild and unpredictable, that’s why we highly recommend it. You have to be able to react quickly and respond properly in any given situation that may occur. It’s okay to get another notch on your whitewater belt on the Lower Gauley as a refresher prior to tackling the intense Upper Gauley. Don’t let your friends talk you into something you may not be ready for. It’s an amusing and challenging experience also and maybe a little more forgiving. All in all, choose your river trip sensibly and have a ball!

We spent three days and after that we went on hiking trip to Shenandoah National Park. Great weekend, ideal weather, full-of-fun place!
